The mission of the Camas Conservation District (CCD) is to set high standards for conservation of the natural resources in the District; to encourage cooperation among landowners, government agencies, private organizations and elected officials; and to ensure an adequate natural resource base for present and future generations.

We care for our Counties soil and water resources for the benefit of our community today, tomorrow and those connected to us up and down the watershed. We are 1 of 50 districts in Idaho with this goal in mind.

The Idaho Association of Soil Conservation Districts was started in 1944.

Camas Soil Conservation District was established in 1957.
