Our Board
Our board members play a vital role in protecting and managing the natural resources of our local communities. They help develop conservation plans, oversee the projects that promote soil health and water quality, and collaborate with landowners, farmers, and government agencies to implement sustainable land management practices. Our board members also advocate for conservation funding, support educational outreach, and ensure that district policies align with both environmental and agricultural needs. Their work helps maintain productive lands and healthy ecosystems for future generations.

I'm Robin Harrison
Sue and I have been retired here since 2020 living on a small acreage just west of town. We saw first hand how the soil conservation service helped with creek erosion, repair, and the importance of preventative maintenance. We've learned about trees, snow, and wind from moving to the Camas Prairie. I am happy to be a part of the Conservation District Board and to continue to learn and help our community.

Lura Craner-Seely
Administrative Assistant
Lura joined the Conservation District in January of 2026. A Utah native, Lura has lived in Fairfield for just under a year, and she loves it! The mountains, the beautiful prairie, the friendly community; all these things make it such a great place to live. Lura and her husband have 6 children. She loves raising backyard chickens, gardening, and working on updating her 100-year old home.
